From a humble beginning in 1949, Amada has grown to become one of the world's largest (employing in excess of 6,000 people) and foremost designers and manufacturers of machinery for the precision sheet metal industry.  In just over 50 years, Amada has also become a truly global entity, with facilities in most of the industrialized countries of the world.
